These notes are like the preceding issues, but with the bank’s name changed to the Народна Банка На Република Северна Македонија (National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia).
The 500-denar notes was the first denomination issued with the new name. On 7 April 2021, the bank put out a tender for a contract to print 20 million 100-denar notes, 20 million 1,000-denar notes, and 10 million 2,000-denar notes. It remains to be seen if the bank intends to issue 10-, 50-, or 200-denar denominations with the new name.
