Paraguay contemplating polymer 5,000- and 10,000-guaraní notes
According to a Digital ABC article dated 11 September 2011, Banco Central del Paraguay is considering issuing its 5,000- and 10,000-guaraní (US$1.25 and $2.50, respectively) banknotes in polymer to extend their lifespan.
