According to a press release dated 29 May 2020, El Banco Central de la República Dominicana introduced a new 500-peso dominicano note (B730a) on 1 June 2020. These notes are like the preceding issues, but with the new bank logo (stylized bank headquarters) at upper right front in green-to-gold OVI.
