According to a Times of Oman article dated 19 June 2016, the Central Bank of Oman has reportedly issued a corrected 1-rial note (B237b) which fixes a date error on the note (B237a) which was originally issued 18 November 2015 to commemorate the 45th National Day (18 November), the day Sultan Qaboos bin Said overthrew the restrictive rule of his father in 1970.
