“Bons au Porteur – Billets de Banque – Genève” published by Société Antoine Bovy

The Société Antoine Bovy (Geneva, Switzerland) is pleased to announce the publication of “Bons au Porteur – Billets de Banque – Genève,” which covers the bonds and notes issued by private banks in Geneva from 1830 to 1906. This 244-page book with color images is in French. The aim of this book is to provide an inventory of Geneva paper money, from the first bearer notes issued in the 1830s to the last banknotes issued in 1906. It also examines the various processes that led to these issues, as well as their technical aspects. The authors are Olivier Chaponnière and Antoine Clerc, with the collaboration of Roger Durand and Jean-Luc Chatelain.
