According to a press release, the Maldives Monetary Authority introduced a new 50-rufiyaa polymer banknote on 13 November 2022.
These notes are like the preceding issues, but with the symbol of the currency preceding the numerical denomination on both sides, as well as new date (8 SEPTEMBER 2022) and signature (Hashim).
