Armenia is not in Central Asia. It is a European country, same as Cyprus. Both Armenia and Cyprus are located in Western Asia, but culturally are European states.
Trivia: Armenia is the only country in mainland Western Asia with an european-style country calling code (+374, in zone 3), unlike its neighbor Georgia which got an asian-style country calling code (+995, in zone 9).
