Banky Foiben’i Madagasikara introduced these four smaller denominations on 18 September 2017, completing the new family that premiered on 17 July 2017. The theme remains “Madagascar and its Riches,” including economic activities, biodiversity, culture, and tourist sites. All the notes have tactile geometric features for the sight-impaired, zebu head watermarks, security threads, and iridescent stripes.
