On 3 November 2017, the Trans-Dniester Republican Bank introduced 1- and 5-ruble banknotes (B221a and B222a) commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. 2,983 pieces of each denomination were issued into circulation. 2,017 pieces of each denomination were sold as numismatic products.
