Algeria new 2,000-dinar note (B412a) reportedly introduced on 04.07.2020

On 4 July 2020, the Banque d’Algérie introduced a new 2,000-dinar note (B412a) and replaced the 200-dinar note with a new coin. Aymen Benabderrahmane, minister of finance, revealed on this occasion that the bank will issue new notes in November, on the occasion of the celebration of the start of the Algerian revolution.

    Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but in my opinion Algerian banknotes have been decidedly amatuerish since the 1970s, and this is probably the worst offender.
