According to a press release dated 18 March 2020, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus planned to introduce new 20- and 50-ruble notes on 23 March 2020. The new notes are like the preceding issues, but dated 2020, without signatures, printed by Goznak, with additional watermark features and wider security threads.
