Banco Central de Nicaragua has replaced the 10-cordobas note (B488a) with a coin, and released a new series of 20-, 50-, 100-, and 500-cordobas notes. This new series is identical to the 2002 issue (B489a – B492a), except for the new date (10 de Marzo de 2006) and new signatures (Arana/Flores).
