According to a press release dated 18 November 2010, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus commemorated its 20th anniversary by issuing a 20,000-ruble (US$6.60) note on 1 December. Only 3,000 notes will be issued in special booklets. The commemorative is based upon the note of the same denomination issued in 2000 (B131), but with a hologram over the watermark reading “NB 1920 1991-2011.”Courtesy of Claudio Marana.
