On 27 August 2015, the Trans-Dniester Republican Bank introduced 1-, 5-, 10-, and 25-ruble banknotes commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Pridnestrovskaya Moldavskaya Respublica. 2,525 pieces of each denomination were issued into circulation. 2,000 sets of notes were sold in folders.
