Venezuela new 10,000-, 20,000-, and 50,000-bolívar notes (B379a – B381a) reportedly introduced 13.06.2019

According to a press release, on 13 June 2019 the Banco Central de Venezuela introduced three new banknotes: 10,000, 20,000, and 50,000 bolívars. These new notes are necessary due to hyperinflation that’s eroded the value of the currency in recent years. The previous highest denomination was 500 bolívars.
