On 20 May 2025, the Trans-Dniester Republican Bank introduced this new 50-ruble note that is like the preceding issue (B231), but physically smaller and with enhanced security features, including a new winged security thread, different watermark portrait, and additional microtext. Furthermore, a QR code has been added to the left of the date on the front and there are now two flags (Principles of Moldavian Republic and Russian) atop the Parliament building on back.
