Zambia new 200-kwacha note (B175) confirmed

According to a press release dated 11 February 2025, these notes were to be issued on 31 March 2025 pursuant to Section 17(1) of the Bank of Zambia Act 2022. The front of each note features the flying African fish eagle with one of Zambia’s key economic sectors in the background and endemic flowers on the long edges as a see-through register. The backs of the notes feature six of Zambia’s key waterfalls with endemic trees and the Big Five animals. The preceding issues will circulate in parallel with these new issues until worn out.
