According to an article in The Star dated 3 July 2023, Lawrence Wong has been appointed as chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore starting 8 July 2023, succeeding the current chairman, Tharman Shanmugaratnam. Banknotes with his signature are expected in due time.
