On 2 December 2011, Bank of Thailand issued a new 100-baht note to commemorate the king’s 7th Cycle (84th) Birthday Anniversary.BNP117 (P124): 100 บาท (baht) (US$3.05)

Red and orange. Front: Thai text; king’s initials in silver foil circle; Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) wearing uniform; royal seal; Royal Garuda emblem. Back: Thai text; Rama IX with camera, holding papers, during his visit to Mae Roem Reservoir Project; Rama IX kneeling with a group of Thai people; Royal Garuda emblem; Rama IX playing the saxophone; Rama IX planting an experimental plot of vetiver grass; four aircraft employing Super Sandwich cloud-seeding technique; Kwai Noi Bamrung Daen Dam in Phitsanulok Province and Chaipattana Low Speed Surface Aerator.
