United Arab Emirates new 100- and 1,000-dirham notes (B229a, B231a) confirmed

According to a press release dated 28 January 2013, on 2 February the Central Bank of The United Arab Emirates issued new 100- and 1,000-dirhams banknotes like the existing notes (B229a and B231a, respectively), but with a 3-mm wide, magenta-to-gold color-shifting windowed security thread and green-to-blue OVI coat of arms.
