According to a press release, on 13 June 2019 the Banco Central de Venezuela introduced three new banknotes: 10,000, 20,000, and 50,000 bolívars. These new notes are necessary due to hyperinflation that’s eroded the value of the currency in recent years. The previous highest denomination was 500 bolívars.Read More…
