The first denomination\u2014a commemorative 5,000-rufiyaa note\u2014will be launched at the end of July 2015. The other circulating denominations\u201410, 20, 50, 100, 500, and 1,000 rufiyaa\u2014will follow from October 2015 onwards (the existing 5-rufiyaa note will be replaced by a coin).
