This note completes the new family which also includes the following denominations: 500, 2,000, 5,000, and 10,000 francs, all dated 15-01-2015 and introduced on 29 April 2015.<\/p>\n<p><b>B237 <\/b>(P51):<b> 1,000 francs <\/b>(withdrawn 26.10.2022)<\/p>\n<p>Green. Front: French and Kirundi text; fish as registration device; bird perched on branch; coat of arms; cattle; flag. Back: French and Kirundi text; map outline of Burundi; banana trees; fish; bank logo.
