According to a press release dated 12 January 2017<\/a>, the Central Bank of the Solomon Islands intends to introduce a new 20-dollar note with new features, dimensions (140 x 66 mm), and sophistication in design, durability, and security. The notes, printed by De La Rue<\/a>, will be launched on 20 January, but won\u2019t enter circulation until 23 January.<\/p>\n
