According to a press release<\/a>, on 15 April 2025 the Banco de Cabo Verde introduced new 1,000- and 2,000-escudo notes. This 2,000-escudo note is like the preceding issue (B220), but with a lightend photo of her as a young woman on front, and a vertical line of MORNA2000<\/em> microtext added to the right of the vignette on back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
