According to a press release dated 27 October 2023<\/a>, the Central Bank of Solomon Islands unveiled a new legal tender 10-dollar polymer banknote to commemorate the 17th Pacific Games held in Honiara from 19 November to 2 December 2023. 1,000,000 notes were printed by De La Rue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each note has a 6-digit serial number and fractional alphanumeric prefix. The prefix on each note is SI\/23, for the Solomon Island\u2019s Pacific Games in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
