To commemorate the 90th anniversary of regaining independence, the National Bank of Poland sold 80,000 new 10-z\u0142oty notes packaged in a folder for 15 z\u0142otych each beginning on 30 October 2008.<\/p>\n

The front of this note depicts Commander J\u00f3zef Pi\u0142sudski and the front fa\u00e7ade of the Belweder Palace. The back contains the Emblem of the Polish Republic\u2014the White Eagle\u2014as designed in 1919, as well as the Monument of the Heroic Deed of Polish Legions in Kielce. This note was engraved by Maciej Kopecki.<\/p>\n
