This 100-pound legal tender note commemorates the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, and features a 2003 portrait called Equanimity, by artist Chris Levine and holographer Rob Munday.<\/p>\n

Senator Philip Ozouf, treasury minister, said \u201cThe \u00a3100 note being issued by the Treasury is part of a series of initiatives that will mark the Queen\u2019s Diamond Jubilee in Jersey. In order to issue a new \u00a3100 note, the States amended the existing 1959 law, which limited the maximum denomination of any currency note to \u00a350. This is an appropriate way for Jersey to celebrate its loyalty to the crown.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
