Existing notes will remain in circulation. The bank no longer issues its own 50- and 100-pound notes and will issue Bank of England notes instead for these denominations.<\/p>\n<p>The 10-pound note is dated 25th January 2013 and the 20-pound note is dated 16th October 2012.
